Lingering/Class Work

When we worked in groups during the class, we got to talk about our lingering thoughts. We spoke of work and wanting to have a job after we each graduate. We knew that this was making us stress over employment and having benefits but then we started giving each other thoughts and advice and made each other felt a bit more at ease because though we have done research we still need to something to think about.

After a few minutes we were started talking about what we were going to do for our finale on the last day of this CEP121 course. The professor had told us that he had in his previous class, students who did a TV segment like the love connection. We as a group were thinking, what could we do that could make every one laugh and enjoy to what we did? We were coming up with so many different ideas that they seemed far fetched and too difficult because we had too little time.

LIB200 Assignment 5

The vision of a ‘perfect’ superhighway future in the 1939 World’s Fair was hype than reality as the fair created real problem with its vision of suburbia and cars. I agree with World’s Fair being more of propaganda to the American people. The World’s fair was to get people to become stable after the war. The vision was for anyone to have the American dream of owning their own home in the Suburbs and having a car. No one wanted a life of crime, hate, and to be underprivileged and that was the city life.
