Chapters 2 and 3.

Chapter two and three they both are more on your career satisfaction, Personal Development, and personality types. When you pick a career you have to pleased with your choice because then you will never be satisfied, you want a occupation that is about yourself like your personality. It is about the requirement tat are set for a specific job. I feel in chapter two though it was about values and about our own personal identities and in chapter three it was about skills in personal identity.
In chapter three, it about the abilities that one has acquired. Also the ability, to learn new skills to bettering their options. In addition, you have to understand if what fits best in your workplace and those that work around you as well. When I first started at LaGuardia I was going to become a Spanish teacher because I knew that it was a language that I could speak, understand, read, and write. But, before that I wanted to study something with business because I was in a technical school. There you would have the option to either take mechanical classes or business. I did both. I did mechanic’s for two years and I switched to business the beginning of my junior year. When I got to my senior year I took a language course and I was too advanced for the class so I did a separate course to better my writing punitions and reading in Spanish. My teacher told me that I could become a Spanish teacher and could have someone send me to Spain to teach. But my mind changed to teaching Developmental disabilities

Lingering/Class Work

When we worked in groups during the class, we got to talk about our lingering thoughts. We spoke of work and wanting to have a job after we each graduate. We knew that this was making us stress over employment and having benefits but then we started giving each other thoughts and advice and made each other felt a bit more at ease because though we have done research we still need to something to think about. After a few minutes we were started talking about what we were going to do for our finale on the last day of this CEP121 course. The professor had told us that he had in his previous class, students who did a TV segment like the love connection. LIB200 Assignment #3

For my research paper I want to do something that I feel is an opener for many people. I am torn between two different ideas for this research paper. The first idea, being a close reading analysis. I enjoyed a glimpse of the World’s Fair and its technological portrayal of technology and suburbia. How people wanted to live the American dream of owning a house and a car. Also how people desperately needed work and the World’s Fair being like a business for those who needed employment after the war. I can also compare it to global warming and how it could have affect the world more than helping it. The second impression is the “Popular Science” which is research idea number four. LIB200 Assignment 5

The vision of a ‘perfect’ superhighway future in the 1939 World’s Fair was hype than reality as the fair created real problem with its vision of suburbia and cars. I agree with World’s Fair being more of propaganda to the American people. The World’s fair was to get people to become stable after the war. The vision was for anyone to have the American dream of owning their own home in the Suburbs and having a car. No one wanted a life of crime, hate, and to be underprivileged and that was the city life.
